The weekend program will expose participants to the major
Spanish wine regions including Rioja, Jerez & Montilla, Penedes, Priorato,
Catalunya, and Rueda. The class will also learn basic Spanish wine terminology
and compare French and Spanish wines.

Major Spanish Wine Regions & Understanding the D.O.s: 2nd Wine Tasting: The
Northeast
Day Three: The
Generosos & Cavas: The Sherries and Sparkling Wines; 3rd Wine Tasting
Price: $749 per person (double occupancy) including
all wine tastings & all meals (wine ordered with meals extra). The
class begins around 3 pm on the first day and ends with lunch on the third
day.
Your Instructors: Vaughn Perret and Charles Leary have lived
in Bordeaux, France and Andalusia, Spain. They also teach wine at the
Mediterranean Cooking School, and have taken courses through the Society of Wine
Educators, the Italian Sommeliers Association, and the Wine Spectator School.
They have designed wine programs for three restaurants, including Trout Point
Lodge's Dining Room.
