Learn traditional
(non-kit) beer making at the Trout Point Cooking & Wine School with artisan
and local Nova Scotia Acadian Matt Cottreau.
One two-night,
one-day course will be offered each month in June, July, August, and October,
2008!
Schedule
Arrive
in the afternoon on the first day, enjoy a reception with other participants and
Matt Cottreau and candlelit dinner. The class commences in the morning of the
second day and runs all day, with numerous breaks to allow enjoyment of all that
Trout Point Lodge has to offer, including canoing, wood-fired riverside hot
tub, and kayaking. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Check-out
on the 3rd day after the included breakfast. Stay in spacious River Bend Deluxe
Rooms or Deluxe Junior Suites (upgrades available). Additional nights can be
reserved at our regular rates.
Use whole grains, other ingredients, and
traditional techniques to learn beermaking.
